The show running through April 20 is curated by Ruan Xiaoyi, with Gao Dengke as the academic host. Works on display are primarily paper collages, as well as oil paintings and acrylics, about 40 of them in total.
The asymmetrical composition in her work suggests the clashes and mixed feelings she felt of the places and people she encountered when living around the world, and the vibrant colors are exuberant with animation and dynamism. Over all, they have formed a balance, visually and mentally, to reveal a spiritual world the artist has built through reflecting on cultural infusion and the meaning of her unique lifestyle.
